Welcome to the home learning page for Year 3 – Updated 1st May 2020
Whilst children are home, it is crucial that they continue to learn. All pupils will have received a 12 week learning pack including a week by week learning plan. Please use this learning plan as a guide for children to work through the work that has been prepared. There will be weekly schedule posted in the resources below. Try to do a little work each day rather than doing it all at once! As well as completing written work, it is important to read regularly and take exercise when you can.
You will find the answers to the spelling, punctuation and grammar in the back of the work book. All other answers will be posted weekly for you to check with your child. Please help them in correcting their mistakes. Help them to spot where they went wrong and how to improve for next time.
You will find in the pack that was delivered a link to an app called Classdojo. If you can, load this app and logon using the code given. This is a place where we can communicate as a class, load pictures, videos etc. We will be loading links to activities that we think the children will enjoy as well as a place to ask for help on any of their work. This will be a great place to share your creative Science and volcano work. We will share information on the class story as well as setting activities on your child’s portfolio.
If you can not find your personal logon, please contact the school office or ask the teacher on your weekly phone call and they will pass it on to you.
Below you will also find links to some online resources for pupils to access which will supplement their learning. Try to access websites such as Times TablesRrockstars or BBC Bitesize for a short time each day. There are also some links to live daily videos with activities such as PE and stories.
If you have not received you learning pack or have any questions about your child’s learning, please contact school on 01274665812 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Take care and stay safe, Mrs Evans, Miss Munir and Mrs Khaliq
