Welcome to the home learning page for Nursery – Updated 24.08.2020

Whilst children are home, it is crucial that they continue to learn. All pupils will have received a 12 week learning pack including a week by week learning plan. Please use this learning plan as a guide for children to work. There is a copy of this schedule in the resources below. Try to do a little work each day rather than doing it all at once! It is vital for younger children to hear stories. Try to read to them once a day or more and sing lots of Nursery rhymes and Number songs.  It will also be very helpful to count with them every day. In Nursery, we concentrate on counting up to 5 in the first year of Nursery and 10 or more in the second year of Nursery. We also make sure that they know what the meaning of a number is. Give them lots of examples of different numbers.

Below you will also find links to some online resources for youngsters  to access which will supplement their learning. Remember though to let your Nursery child learn through play. We will be putting some ideas on seesaw for you to try, so you can have fun with your children whilst they are at home.

If you have not received you learning pack or have any questions about your child’s learning, please contact school on 01274665812 or

Take care and stay safe, Mrs Cossavella Mrs Hanif Mrs Spink Mrs Shah Mrs Ajmal
