Reception class pupils have been joined by parents, grandparents, community members and staff for an Easter egg hunt and sing-a-long. The event brought pupils, staff and the community together to help celebrate the end of a busy term full of engaging and imaginative learning.
The event ended in an egg-citing Easter bonnet parade where the reception class children were able to showcase their craft making and imagination skills by proudly parading their homemade bonnets to fellow classmates, parents, community members and teachers.

Ruth Corkery, Assistant Principal at Thornbury Primary Leadership Academy, said:
“We were delighted to bring together the whole school community for such an uplifting event. My personal highlight was seeing a procession of children coming through the school gates wearing bright, cheerful Easter bonnets.”

AcademyNotice - Reception Open day

Come along to our Open Events on  Wednesday 13th November 2019 from

2pm - 3.30pm and 5pm - 6.30pm

The event represents a chance for prospective pupils and their families to see our Academy in action. With exciting displays, in-class demonstrations and a range of engaging activities, it is a great opportunity to meet our current pupils and speak to staff about the subjects they teach and just what we have to offer.

We hope you will be able to visit the Academy with your child.
